Let’s continue our march into Spring 2015 with some wonderful music!

Ian Fitzgerald is described by Performer Magazine as “a polished songsmith who is high atop a field of great artists breaking through to festivals and folk concerts throughout the states… He is a tender songwriter who composes with a fair and golden heart, seeking out faith over all obstacles and the burning flame of hope; his songs really take you on a journey.”

“Playing in a variety of blues and rock n’roll bands through the younger years of life, Brian Carroll forged an appreciation for musicians creating music through improvisation and true feeling. It was, however, in college where he picked up a mandolin and found the bluegrass and country roots sound which his style most sonically emulates today. Incorporating inspiration from legendary roots musicians Hank Williams Sr., Doc Watson and Johnny Cash with his love of modern-day songwriters and musicians, Brian spins a web of music that is part storyteller, part improvisational blues and bluegrass musicianship, but all emotion and heart.”

This is a unique “speakeasy” with very limited seating for just 40 lucky souls; every seat is no more than 25 feet from the stage.

No flash photography or professional video cameras are allowed but you may take photos during the show… just turn off your flash and silence your cameras/phones.

Ian Fitzgerald and Brian Carroll will be sharing their talent with The Extended Play Sessions as they take the stage on Thursday, April 16th to film The Extended Play Sessions. Doors are at 6pm with the show at 7pm and you can be included (for a $25 donation) by contacting them via e-mail at studioconcertseries@gmail.com. You can also purchase a ticket online here.  All guests are “invitation only” courtesy of the Extended Play Sessions. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food from the legendary buffet, complimentary beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks and mixed adult beverages. Beverages and food are available during the filming as well.

The Extended Play Sessions American Roots Music Television Studio is located just 25 minutes from downtown Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts (minutes off I-95 and Route 1) and has free parking right outside the doors! I've loved the arts all my life... I go to a lot of concerts, take lots of photos and want to share them. Every once in a while I do something other than a concert, too. The Boston area is full of opportunities to indulge my passion - I'd like to help make it yours too!
