More Wonderful Acts Added To The Newport Folk Festival Line-Up
The Newport Folk Festival continues its lineup announcements and added even more interesting acts.
The announcements made over the past week are:
Chris Funk (guitarist for The Decemberists) – He is hosting ‘For Pete’s Sake’. I did not see any of that last year, but hope to this year.
Sufjan Stevens – He’s been on my radar to see, and now I will!
Spirit Family Reunion – I enjoy watching this band as much as any. Their energy and talent shine from the stage!
The Felice Brothers – I enjoyed them when I saw them open for another band, so I’m looking forward to seeing them again on a better stage!
I continue to be thrilled that I have a three-day ticket.
I plan to post the announcements weekly until NFF has completed the entire lineup. At that point, I might offer my opinions on the acts, once I know who is performing which day.
At this point, the only remaining type of ticket is the Friday single-day ticket. This is an amazing festival – even going for one day is worth it. Get your tickets now!!!
