An Incredibly Interesting And Mysterious Announcement By Newport Folk Festival
The Newport Folk Festival continues its lineup announcements and the week started with an extremely interesting announcement!
The announcements made over the past week are:
65 Revisited – a celebration of the iconic moment when Bob Dylan went electric at the 1965 Festival. There’s no word on who this will be; I believe I read somewhere that it will NOT be Dylan…
The Ballroom Thieves – I love this band! This is a fabulous addition to the lineup
Berklee [College] Gospel and Roots Choir – I’m guessing they will start the music on Sunday as they did the past two years and they are a great way to start the day!
I continue to be thrilled that I have a three-day ticket.
I plan to post the announcements weekly until NFF has completed the entire lineup. At that point, I might offer my opinions on which acts to see, once I know who is performing which day.
At this point, the only remaining type of ticket is the Friday single-day ticket. This is an amazing festival – even going for one day is worth it. Get your tickets now!!!
