An Epic Event At The Extended Play Sessions

The Extended Play Sessions American Roots Music Television announced the return of the Girls Guns and Glory, who will be in the studio for a Session on Monday, June 8th at 7 pm performing their fabulous Hank Williams tribute. I saw them on New Year’s Day for the first time and they are marvelous! Unfortunately, this show sold out in a couple of hours, but look for a return engagement.

Come share some fabulous music and friendship at this Session!

One of Rolling Stone’s ’10 New Artists You Need To Know’ – ‘Modern-day Buddy Holly plus Dwight Yoakam divided by the Mavericks…Think soulful lyrics paired with a beat you can dance to.’ —Rolling Stone

“Imagine Lyle Lovett and Chris Isaak paying tribute to classic American rock n’ roll from Elvis, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison.” —The Boston Herald

“With all this strum and twang, it’s hard to believe Hayden – who recalls smooth talkers like Chris Isaak and Dwight Yoakam, with a dash of Buddy Holly’s jumpy, hiccupy style – hails from Scituate and not the South….Girls Guns and Glory demonstrates a mastery of moods and roots styles that transcends regional boundaries.” —The Boston Globe

“For the past eight years, Boston’s rising stars Girls Guns and Glory have been making a name for themselves through relentless touring (about 200 gigs a year worldwide), the release of four critically acclaimed records, a slew of local awards, including being the Boston Music Awards first act of its genre to win Act of the Year, and international awards (Independent Artist of the Year at the French Country Music Awards). And, now, the hard-working band is refining their focus to the roots of rock ‘n’ roll with a twist of country.”

This is a unique “speakeasy” with very limited seating for just 36 lucky souls; every seat is no more than 25 feet from the stage.

No flash photography or professional video cameras are allowed but you may take photos during the show… just turn off your flash and silence your cameras/phones.

Girls Guns & Glory will be sharing their talent with The Extended Play Sessions as they take the stage on Monday, June 8th to film The Extended Play Sessions. Doors are at 6pm with the show at 7pm and you can be included (for a $35 donation) by contacting them via e-mail at studioconcertseries@gmail.com. All guests are “invitation only” courtesy of the Extended Play Sessions. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food from the legendary buffet, complimentary beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks and mixed adult beverages. Beverages and food are available during the filming as well.

The Extended Play Sessions American Roots Music Television Studio is located just 25 minutes from downtown Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts (minutes off I-95 and Route 1) and has free parking right outside the doors! The $25 donation includes good food and an open bar! Oh, you and about 39 other people will receive a poster that the artist will sign to hang on your wall!

About suze72

I've loved the arts all my life... I go to a lot of concerts, take lots of photos and want to share them. Every once in a while I do something other than a concert, too. The Boston area is full of opportunities to indulge my passion - I'd like to help make it yours too!
