Two More Shows Announced At The Extended Play Sessions
It’s a busy week at The Extended Play Sessions at the Fallout Shelter. In addition to Anthony Geraci and the Boston Blues All-Stars last night, we have shows on Friday and Sunday too!
On Friday November 6th ,the incendiary blues guitar of The Bobby Thompson Project returns to The Extended Play Sessions for his first show at The Fallout Shelter. Bobby was our last show at the Lenox Street studio and he just blew everyone’s mind! It was like seeing Stevie Ray Vaughan all over again…his band is terrific and he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet…AND one of the best guitarists we’ve seen!

On Sunday, November 8th the amazing Underhill Rose from Asheville, North Carolina will be in the studio. This three-piece band of beautiful young women can play and their harmonies are to die for!
“One of the most promising rootsy women artists in the Americana scene.” – No Depression
Harmonies. Soul-touching lyrics. Eye-catching stage presence. Underhill Rose has put its talents to work to become synonymous with beautiful music, charming personalities and, recently, increased momentum.

With Eleanor playing her distinctive claw-hammer style on a Deering banjo along with harmonica, Molly Rose on guitar and Salley Williamson plucking the upright bass, the trio has carved out a place in the Americana scene with songs that run the gamut from heart wrenching to sassy and playful to thought-provoking. Eleanor’s salty blues-inspired voice and Molly’s soaring range lead the group in tandem with Salley’s country twang to create three-part harmony music that is real and inspired, and rooted in everything life has thrown at Asheville, North Carolina’s pre-eminent female trinity.
This is a unique “speakeasy” with very limited seating for just 40 lucky souls; every seat is no more than 25 feet from the stage.
No flash photography or professional video cameras are allowed but you may take photos during the show… just turn off your flash and silence your cameras/phones.
We’re fortunate to have these incredible players grace the stage and space is filling up VERY fast. If you are interested in attending either of these events on Friday, November 6th or Sunday, November 8th, there is still a small number of seats available and will be confirmed via email. Doors are at 6:00 pm with the show at 7:00 pm and you can be included by contacting them via e-mail at studioconcertseries@gmail.com. Confirmations including the address are issued on a FIRST COME basis. Once confirmed, your seat is reserved. You must email for a confirmation prior to the show.
Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food from our legendary buffet as well as beverages including beer, wine, soft drinks and mixed adult beverages. Beverages and food are available during the filming as well.
