The Newport Folk Festival continue its lineup announcements and – as expected – they are winners!

The announcements made over the past week are:

The Oh Hellos – My favorite set of the 2014 Festival is returning with a new album! I saw one of their shows last fall and they stunned me as much as they had at NFF. I  cannot wait!

Flight of the Conchords – This surprise announcement is for a reunion tour which should be fun!

Ruby Amanfu – I had never heard of this soul songstress, but she sounds amazing.

I plan to post the announcements weekly until NFF has completed the entire lineup. At that point, I might offer my opinions on which acts to see, once I know who is performing which day.

At this point, the only remaining type of ticket is the Friday single-day ticket. This is an amazing festival – even going for one day is worth it. Get your tickets now!!!

Saturday:  Father John Misty, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Ruby Amanfu
