The Newport Folk Festival continues its lineup announcements!

The announcements made over the past week are:

John Prine – Holy moly what a great addition to the Festival! He is an amazing songwriter.

Alone & Together (KEVIN MORBY, Sam Cohen, Eric D. Johnson (Fruit Bats), Joe Russo and Josh Kaufman) – Only Fruit Bats is familiar to me so I look forward to hearing them!

Julia Jacklin – This Australian artist describes her style as Folk/Rock/Indie/Alt-Country/Grunge so I predict an interesting set from her.

I plan to post the announcements weekly until NFF has completed the entire lineup. At that point, I might offer my opinions on which acts to see, once I know who is performing which day.
