Newport Folk Festival 2022 Hit a Grand Slam!
Every year at the Newport Folk Festival is fabulous, but the 2022 Festival truly hit it out of the park! The joy I – and 10,000 others – felt at seeing Joni Mitchell perform for the first time in many years was incomparable. That should not detract from the rest of the Festival, which I enjoyed as much as always.

My Top Ten Shows of 2014
Wow, how am I going to choose only ten shows – out of 177 – as my top shows of last year? So many of the shows I attended were terrific so narrowing the list to ten is not easy.
Chemistry Was In The Air As Two Seemingly Disparate Music Legends Performed
There was much excitement in the air in TD Garden on Monday night, as the sold-out (or nearly sold-out) crowd waited for the two legends, Paul Simon and Sting, to take the stage.

I made a last-minute decision to see this show, and I’m extremely glad I did. I had never seen Sting perform, and hadn’t seen Paul Simon since the famous Simon & Garfunkel concert in Central Park in 1981.
