It may seem odd to say that a jazz show of any style rocked, but that’s exactly what Alex Alvear and Mango Blue did at Regattabar on Friday evening.

There were many people dancing at the back of the room, so obviously many felt the same as I did. Most of us who remained seated contributed by doing some chair dancing.
