First Weekly Show Announcement

I thought I would start a weekly post listing concert announcements for the Boston area that I received during the previous week. Of course these are shows that I find interesting or artists I think you, my dear readers, might like.  I do not intend the list to be comprehensive – for that, you should get yourself on the email list for Ticketmaster, Live Nation, and Bowery Boston, to name a few. Venues you like generally have email notifications as well.

Cher at TD Garden – Wednesday, April 9

Jake Bugg at House of Blues – Saturday, January 11

Galactic with Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires at House of Blues – Friday, February 7

The Breeders at Paradise – Wednesday, December 18

Josh Ritter at Somerville Theatre – Wednesday, March 5

The Felice Brothers at Brighton Music Hall – New Year’s Eve

The Pixies at the Orpheum – Saturday, January 18

The Avett Brothers and Old Crow Medicine Show at TD Garden – Saturday, March 8

For shows I know I really want to attend, I usually buy tickets the day they go on sale, even for General Admission shows. Some shows sell out more quickly than I expect (The Black Crowes at the House of Blues in April 2013 was one – it sold out in about 11 minutes).

About suze72

I've loved the arts all my life... I go to a lot of concerts, take lots of photos and want to share them. Every once in a while I do something other than a concert, too. The Boston area is full of opportunities to indulge my passion - I'd like to help make it yours too!
