Singer-Songwriter Event This Weekend At Extended Play Sessions
On Saturday, June 14th, you can be part of the audience at Alternate Root TV for an Extended Play Session in Norwood, Massachusetts with Kris Delmhorst and Amelia White with Sergio Webb.
I am a bit familiar with Kris’ music and not familiar with Amelia or Sergio, but I love being introduced to music that’s new to me; I’m excited to hear their music and fall in love with it.
“Kris Delmhorst makes Massachusetts her home, sticking close to Boston where she cut her teeth on open mic nights and subway busking. Her new release, Blood Test (her seventh album on Signature Sounds) is her first album of original music since 2008. Kris will perform songs from her latest release for the Extended Play Sessions. Kris Delmhorst lives in the hills of western Massachusetts with her husband, songwriter Jeffrey Foucault. Amelia White landed in East Nashville more than a dozen years ago and has been able to watch both her career and the cache of the neighborhood rise. Appearing with Amelia White will be fellow East-Nashvillian, Sergio Webb. As a songwriter and a sideman, Sergio Webb is a keeper and a must-see/meet.”
Sounds great to me and hopefully to you as well.
This is a great opportunity to hear some terrific music, mingle with the artists, and meet some cool people. Did I mention that there’s plenty of free parking? That’s not something you get at most venues…
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at approximately 7 p.m. You can be one of the 44 people in the audience for this show by contacting Email me! (this is a link for the Session, not this writer) for further information and getting yourself on the guest list. There is a donation of $25 which covers food, open bar and the show. Oh, and a really cool poster which you can get signed!
