It just keeps getting better!
PBS recently put the wrap on a three-part mini-series called American Epic produced by Robert Redford, Jack White and T-Bone Burnett. Two British filmmakers, Bernard MacMahon and Allison McGourty, and American Producer Duke Erikson have pieced together this extraordinary story set in the late 1920s when record companies toured America with a recording machine and for the first time captured the raw expression of an emerging culture. It democratized music and gave a voice to the poorest in the nation.
Among several bands chosen to perform in this brilliant documentary is Los Angeles based The Americans. They have performed on David Letterman, were the wedding band for Reese Witherspoon, produced an album with Johnny Depp, performed in and wrote music for the film The Texas Killing Fields and now the PBS mini-series American Epic...

This is a unique venue with very limited seating for just 55 lucky souls; every seat is no more than 25 feet from the stage. There is also enough room to dance, if the spirit moves you!
No flash photography or professional video cameras are allowed but you may take photos during the show… just turn off your flash and silence your cameras/phones.
We’re fortunate to have this band grace the stage and space is filling up very quickly. If you are interested in attending this event on Sunday, January 24th, there is still a small number of seats available and will be confirmed via email. Doors are at 6:00 pm with the show at 7:00 pm and you can be included by contacting them via e-mail at studioconcertseries@gmail.com. Confirmations including the address are issued on a FIRST COME basis. Once confirmed, your seat is reserved. You must email for a confirmation prior to the show.
Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food from our legendary buffet as well as beverages. Beverages and food are available during the filming as well.
The Extended Play Sessions at The Fallout Shelter is located just 30 minutes from downtown Boston in Norwood, Massachusetts (minutes off I-95 and Route 1) and has free parking right outside the doors! You and about 54 other people will receive a fabulous limited edition poster that the artists will sign to hang on your wall.
If you plan to attend please RSVP as soon as possible.
