The Green River Festival Adds To The 2017 Lineup!

One of my favorite summer events, The Green River Festival, has announced the first artists for this year and it includes some of my most-loved acts!

Great music, chill atmosphere, fabulous food trucks (seriously), wonderful beer provided – at least in the past – by Berkshire Brewing Company, terrific artisans selling their ware, and hot air balloons all contribute to a spectacular festival!

“The Green River Festival is pleased to announce fourteen more artists slated to perform this July along with Lake Street Dive and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead who were confirmed in January. Praised by Rolling Stone, The New York Times, and USA TODAY as an “essential” not to be missed music festival, The Green River festival is in its 31st year.

The Infamous Stringdusters

Amadou & Mariam
Pokey LaFarge

Presented by Signature Sounds, the Green River Festival was recently deemed “One of 2015’s must see summer festivals ” by Rolling Stone and one of the “Fifty essential summer music festivals” by The New York Times. The Festival combines a spectacular lineup of over 40 acts on three stages, the best in local food, beer and wine, handmade crafts, a dance tent, a wide array of kids ‘ activities and entertainment, hot air balloon rides and a balloon glow, for Western Massachusetts largest prior event of the summer. For the second year, Festival camping will be available at the nearby Franklin County Fairgrounds.
