The Newport Folk Festival continues its lineup announcements!

The announcements made over the past week are:

Regina Spektor – I keep missing her local shows and now I will finally get to see her!

Brent Cobb – I saw him for the first time a few weeks ago and he is terrific!

Nikki Lane – She is fabulous! I have seen her a couple of times and will gladly see her again… and again!

Robert Ellis – He was at the Festival a couple of years ago in a different iteration that I loved so I am excited to see him again.

J.P. Harris & Chance McCoy – I loved Harris last year and have seen McCoy with Old Crow a number of tines, so I am very excited for this collaboration!

I plan to post the announcements weekly until NFF has completed the entire lineup. At that point, I might offer my opinions on which acts to see, once I know who is performing which day.
