Help Keep Live Music Alive!

Anyone who knows me, or reads this website, knows how much I adore the Fallout Shelter (also referred to as the Extended Play Sessions). The venue had to close suddenly in December and it has been missed!

Please read the following that was released by the new venue, the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center, and consider donating.

“Friends and Fans and Family!

“Who ever thought we would have the opportunity to resurrect the Fallout Shelter? Even believers have most likely been wondering…..Well, to all you believers and non-believers, the time has finally come for “Our Shelter” to rise again! We have navigated a long and bumpy road in a tenacious effort to find our way back to the community we love.

“And, because of you, and our shared mission as a community, we have taken on the task to bring the Fallout Shelter up to spec so we can remain here, in shelter with you, indefinitely! It is indeed a monumental task to say the least, but we are closing in and almost there. Here’s a look at the new Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center website.

“We need a boost from our friends in the Extended Play Sessions community…but this time around, It’s a tax-deductible boost! You can be part of our re-emergence as a true gem in the Greater Boston area to experience live music. Please consider making a donation in support of our collective mission! You can be instrumental in supporting our vision coming back with full force, and join us moving forward into creative territory we can enjoy together – only this time your contribution goes “On The Record” as a tax deduction!

“For those who contributed to our fund-raising effort last year, we remain grateful; we know who you are, and will honor the commitments we made. You will still have your ‘reserved’ table, you will still get advance notice for our upcoming events, and you will still get to book your event, only this time in an even cooler venue!

“Our target date to re-open the Fallout Shelter studio is August 4th with the amazing Tweed Funk on deck to join us all the way from Milwaukee!

“Please consider supporting the Grass Roots Cultural and Performing Arts Center and  The Extended Play Sessions.  Remember, it is tax-deductible!

About suze72

I've loved the arts all my life... I go to a lot of concerts, take lots of photos and want to share them. Every once in a while I do something other than a concert, too. The Boston area is full of opportunities to indulge my passion - I'd like to help make it yours too!
