Newport Folk Festival Started The 2015 Rolling Lineup Announcements

I’m still a relative newcomer to the Newport Folk Festival, compared to friends who have been attending for 20+ years. The first year I attended was 2012 and I think it will be a part of my life for years to come.

For the past couple of years, NFF decided to do rolling announcements of the lineup rather than announcing the entire lineup at the same time. It’s part frustrating (because I want to know NOW) but mostly exciting (who’s going to be announced NEXT).

The Haden Triplets – having an album produced by Ry Cooder (not to mention being the daughters of jazz great Charlie Haden) is all I needed to read to make me excited about seeing them at the Festival
