I am not terribly familiar with Mary’s music, but I love what I’ve heard so I’m excited to see her for what promises to be an exciting event! Imagine the energy that a combination of a CD release date show, an intimate venue, and a recording for a television show will bring.

“Mary Gauthier pulls no punches in her stories and she has never shied away from personal experience. Her upcoming release, “Trouble and Love”, is the story of Mary’s break- up. She gathered over 35 songs and pieced them together to form the album’s story. The Alternate Root is pleased to host a special night of filming featuring Mary Gauthier, on the date of her record release.”

This is a great opportunity to hear some great music, mingle with the artists, and meet some cool people. Did I mention that there’s plenty of free parking? That’s not something you get at most venues…

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at approximately 7 p.m. You can be one of the 44 people in the audience for this show by contacting studioconcertseries@gmail.com for further information and getting yourself on the guest list. There is a donation of $25 which covers food, open bar and the show. Oh, and a really cool poster which you can get signed!

I've loved the arts all my life... I go to a lot of concerts, take lots of photos and want to share them. Every once in a while I do something other than a concert, too. The Boston area is full of opportunities to indulge my passion - I'd like to help make it yours too!
