Great Blues Coming Up At Alternate Root TV
A night of wonderful blues is coming up on Friday, August 22nd at the Extended Play Sessions at Alternate Root TV.
Sugar Ray and The Bluetones will release their seventh album for Severn Records on August 19, 2014. The band will be celebrating their 35th anniversary and the release of “Living Tear to Tear” at Alternate Root Studios with Sugar Ray Norcia on vocals and harp, and longtime Bluetones Mudcat Ward (bass), Anthony Geraci (keyboards), and Neil Gouvin (drums). Monster Mike Welch is now a full-time member of the Bluetones.
The Alternate Root is pleased to host a special night of filming featuring Sugar Ray and the Bluetones on August 22, 2014. Doors are at 6PM and you can be included by contacting us via e-mail through studioconcertseries@gmail.com.
Alternate Root TV Studio is located in Norwood, just 25 minutes from downtown Boston and minutes off I-95 and Route 1 South.
It is a unique space with very limited seating for just 40 people; no seat is more than 25 feet from the stage. The doors will open at 6:00 with the show beginning promptly at 7:00 PM. All guests are “invitation only” courtesy of the Alternate Root Magazine. Guests are invited to enjoy complimentary food from the legendary Mexican buffet as well as complimentary beverages including beer, wine, and soft drinks. Beverages and food are available during the filming as well.
It is an opportunity to see an evening of incredible music with Sugar Ray and the Bluetones up-close and personal in an unprecedented setting. A limited edition event poster for every guest is also included.
