The Word For Luck Reunion Is – WOW!!!
I was a lucky (pun intended) person indeed to have traveled to Austin for Willie Nelson’s Luck Reunion earlier this month. I knew artists who performed there in past years and always regretted not being there, but finally got the chance this year.
This one-day event is held in Willie’s backyard (if it can be said that a ranch was a backyard) with only 2,000 tickets sold, so everyone who attends is lucky.
The Energy Exploded From The Stage
Usually when I review a show, I highlight the headliner and devote less space to the opener. In the case of this show at the House of Blues with The Devil Makes Three as the headliner and Langhorne Slim and the Law as the opener, I am breaking that pattern and focusing on Langhorne Slim.

Hot Music And Heat Ruled Day Two Of Green River Festival
What a day of incredible music! The first full day of the 2015 Green River Festival had a fantastic schedule, as I have come to expect from this Festival.
Despite the unrelenting heat (which was worse the following day), people danced, paraded, availed themselves of the cooling tent, and generally had an amazing day.
