An Intimate Evening With A Rock Legend
Despite a number of really good shows happening in Boston on this snowy evening, I chose to see the legendary Leon Russell in the intimate setting that is Johnny D’s.
Walking with the aid of a cane, Leon took the stage to a standing ovation. Graciously acknowledging the love we showed him, he sat at his grand piano and played his heart out for the next nearly two hours.

Garth Brooks Triumphs In Boston
Seventeen years had passed since Garth Brooks performed in Boston; for about half of them, he was retired from music. At the end of January, he triumphantly returned to give us six sold-out (or nearly sold-out) shows at TD Garden.
One look at Garth’s face tells you all you need to know – that he was thrilled with the reception he received!
Three Powerhouse Guitarists Amazed At The Narrows
I was a very lucky person to be able to see the first of the David Bromberg, Larry Campbell, and David Hidalgo shows which was held at The Narrows Center for the Arts recently.
I apologize that my photos are not as good as usual; there were a lot of mics on stage that proved tough to shoot around.
