I am biased when it comes to Michelle ‘Evil Gal’ Willson; she is a friend, a cousin of a life-long friend, and a great singer. Still, I say without reservation that she is a consummate entertainer who is worth your time to see. She performed her brand of jazz/blues/soul music recently at The Extended Play Sessions at the Fallout Shelter.
Tomorrow night (Friday, March 11th), we will be hosting a special evening at The Extended Play Sessions at The Fallout Shelter with American Roots rock band Jo Henley with special guests Hayley Sabella on vocals and sax master Rob Loyot on saxophone and percussion.
It promises to be another evening of incredible music and community.
Music heads, friends, fans…
Professor Louie and The Crowmatix are the real deal. Brilliant musicians sharing a common love for the art of making music.
Some of Boston’s very best blues musicians are coming to the stage at The Extended Play Sessions on Friday, October 16th! A very special evening is planned with Anthony Geraci and Friends including Monster Mike Welch, Darrell Nulisch, Michelle Willson, Michael “Mudcat” Ward and Marty Richards.
Touring on the heels of the release of his latest album, Ode to Thinking, Bobby has a voice that deserves to be heard.
The NightOwls, a soul/Motown/R&B band from Austin, filled the stage at The Extended Play Sessions recently and brought their A game to us. They graciously fit us into their tight schedule and delivered a terrific performance.
I missed the first couple of songs because traffic was atrocious (and this show started earlier than usual because the band had to be in Cambridge for a show later in the evening), but luckily for me they had to re-record one of them so I did not miss much.
Patrolled by Radar invades The Extended Play Sessions on Saturday September 19th! It’s going to be a blowout performance from this Los Angeles band!!
We are honored to host one of America’s true hidden gems and a songwriter of extraordinary talent Rod Picott on Sunday, August 23rd.
