This is an incredible announcement from the Lowell Summer Music Series! Appearing in his début at the Series on Thursday, June 14th is David Crosby! I have seen him a number of times both solo and with Crosby Stills & Nash and Crosby Stills Nash & Young and he never disappoints. Last summer the Series had Graham Nash and Stephen Stills, this year Croz! Maybe next year Neil Young???

Another terrific artist is coming to the Lowell Summer Music Series for their Series début! Appearing on Sunday, June 17th is Fitz & The Tantrums! I saw this band a couple of years ago as the headliner of a large one-day music festival in Boston and thoroughly enjoyed their high-energy performance!

We Were Taken To The River And Beyond
There is so much history in the Memphis music scene, and three of the elder statesmen of that scene headlined a stupendous show titled Take Me to the River at the Parker Playhouse over the past weekend.
These three gentlemen – William Bell, Bobby Rush, and Don Bryant – are 78, 84, and 75 years of age, respectively, but none of them show any signs of slowing. We were in the presence of music royalty and we knew it. And we appreciated it!
