Help The Extended Play Sessions Grow!
The Extended Play Sessions is raising funds for a new studio. Here’s an explanation of the mission; at the end of this article, there appears another link to the fundraising page. I would personally appreciate any donations my readers choose to make.

Excellent Storytelling Punctuated This Americana Show
Writer-Songsinger Amelia White Brought It On
I was introduced to Amelia White and Sergio Webb almost a year ago when the East Nashvillians came to The Extended Play Sessions for the first time, so I knew that their return visit would be fabulous.
For this show, they brought the Blue Souvenirs with them which added immeasurably to the show.

The Incomparable Vince Gill And Lyle Lovett Shine In A Rare Duo Show
I knew we would be treated to an intimate experience with Vince Gill and Lyle Lovett at the Capitol Center for the Arts when I saw the stage was set with two chairs, two mics, and a guitar rack. And, oh yes, a small table between the chairs. It was as if they were in their living room.
Lyle has toured as a duo, trio, and quartet with the likes of Guy Clark, John Hiatt, and Joe Ely, but I believe this is the first time he has toured with Vince in this format. They did only a small handful of dates (either three or four as I recall the tour schedule), and judging by the show I saw, it was a resounding success.
A Trifecta Of Young Singer-Songwriters Serenaded At The Sinclair
Playing to a smaller audience than they deserved, Liz Longley, Heather Maloney, and Sarah Blacker treated us to a trio of sets that showcased the talent each of them possesses.
I was familiar with the music of all three young women prior to this show, and was excited to see how their styles worked off each other.
An Epic Event At The Extended Play Sessions
The Extended Play Sessions American Roots Music Television announced the return of the Girls Guns and Glory, who will be in the studio for a Session on Monday, June 8th at 7 pm performing their fabulous Hank Williams tribute. I saw them on New Year’s Day for the first time and they are marvelous! Unfortunately, this show sold out in a couple of hours, but look for a return engagement.
